Spira’s Dawn – Online Role Playing Game
Previously, I wrote about FFP – Final Fantasy Project, the Final Fantasy-site I’m helping out. On this project, we have also started an online role playing game called Sin’s Dawn. The orpg takes place in Spira – the world of Final Fantasy X – just after the machina war between Bevelle and Zanarkand, at the birth of Sin. The Yevon religion has not yet been formed, and I believe this is a truly interesting period of time in the history of Spira. We get to join the world as it’s forming into the place we know from the game.
In addition, there are fun minigames like Blitzball, Sphere Break and RPG Inferno for those who likes to explore the site some more. As for writing posts on the rpg itself, the adding of pictures in the posts are made easy, and there is even a spell check available for each post!
There are several interesting themes to play out here; the birth and development of the Yevon religion, the tension between the surviving Zanarkandians and the other people of Spira, the stories behind the Fayths from the temples that are yet to be build, the first attacks of Sin and the first pilgrimages of the summoners… The dawning of a new age in Spira – and I invite anyone who feel tempted to join us!
