Last week, I wanted to buy myself a nice PS2-game. I did not have any particular game in mind, but I was looking for something in the medieval RPG-genre. As much as I have heard of and read about those games, I haven’t really played them myself.
So I came across Baldur’s Gate – Dark Alliance II.
I knew nothing about the game, except that I had vaguely heard about Baldur’s Gate before. When I started playing the game – after a few minutes with frustrating battles, trying to get to know the controllers and the battle system – I was in for a positive surprise. Les hele dette innlegget »

Lately, I’ve been so preoccupied with the game FF-X – writing about it, reading about it and playing it – that I haven’t really focused on any other games. But yesterday I finally finished the first disc of FF VIII!
This game was released in Europe on PlayStation September 2000. The game came on four discs. This space was needed mainly due to the demanding graphics.
The story is mainly about Squall, a cynical and quiet young man who has just graduated at Balamb Garden – a school which educates skilled mercenaries. The story follows him and other students as they try to stop wars and save the world as they know it. Of course, as in most Final Fantasy games, love is also an important theme.
